Sponsored by the PASTEL SOCIETY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE First Three Day Workshop: September 18, 19, 20, 2010 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) Second Three Day Workshop: September 21, 22& 23 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Both workshops were based in the historic Discover Portsmouth Center. Workshop participants painted throughout the historic gardens, museums, and harbors of the seaport town of Portsmouth.

Portland Ballet School, Portland, Maine
Pastel Painters of Maine extended an invitation to PSNH to join them in a Painting, drawing and photography session at the Portland School of Ballet on April 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Ballet Studios. PSNH members had the advantage to take informal shots of the dancers as they practice on the barre as well as center floor exercises.

Saturday, August 15 - Moffatt-Ladd Historic House and Gardens, Portsmouth, NH. Moffatt-Ladd House plans to have significant publicity about our painting in the gardens, and we can have extra finished paintings scattered about in case people visiting the gardens are interested in purchasing. Paint-Out Thursday, July 16 at Kappy Fisher's wonderful farm and barn in Orford, NH. Paint-Out - Saturday, July 11 - Fuller Gardens, North Hampton, NH. A multiple garden area near the ocean with a rose garden, oriental garden, shade garden, perennial garden, greenhouse, coach house and more.
"The Painterly Pastelist" with Frank Frederico, PSA, NWS Sponsored by the Pastel Society of New Hampshire A Three Day Workshop: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 23, 24, 25, 2009 Hours: 9:30 – 4:00 Held at Gibson House B. & B., Haverhill, New Hampshire, a charming B & B at the gateway to the White Mountains in a scenic village overlooking the upper Connecticut River Valley. A partial scholarship was offered for this workshop for NH residents or PSNH members.

Members of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire were invited by Pastel Painters of Maine to join them on February 21st to paint the dancers of the Portland Ballet.
Robert Carsten gave us an excellent demonstration, discussion, and critique at our March 15th Members' Meeting.
