Pastel Society of New Hampshire
The Pastel Society of New Hampshire is pleased to announce that we sponsored three outstanding workshops this year.
We invite you to participate in any of the three workshops sponsored by the Society in 2013.
We have chosen these three teachers because of their credentials, teaching techniques and diversity of styles.
We hope you will find a convenient time to take advantage of any of these fine opportunities to further your endeavors in the pastel medium.

Lesson Themes: Unleashing the Color in Your Paintings
We regret that Gigi's workshop is cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
Gigi will be giving a demonstration at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 26 prior to the Reception at the Discover Center in Portsmouth, NH which follows at 4:00 pm. She is donating a painting to be auctioned during the reception.GIGI HORR LIVERANT
Gigiís artwork celebrates rich color with a method that includes the use of small studies in order to translate her inspiration into a cohesive painting. Using a variety of pastel brands on a prepared board, Gigi will demonstrate her technique and how the small study helps to transform her idea into a larger artwork.
The demonstration will be executed in two phases; the first will be the beginning of a new painting using photo reference, a thumbnail sketch and a small study. The second phase will demonstrate the resolution process of a painting already in progress.
Gigi will have samples of various pastel brands, boards, fixative, and other materials to share and discuss.
Gigi Horr Liverant is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including Best in Show at the Connecticut Pastel Society, the Richard McKinley Mentorship Award, the Andrew Giffuni Memorial Award, and the Diane Bernhardt Gold Medal Award all at the Pastel Society of America Annual Exhibition. She is a Pastel Society of America Master Pastelist and a Signature Member of the Connecticut Pastel Society. She has been featured in the Pastel Journal and the Artistís Magazines. She maintains a studio in Colchester, Connecticut.
